Job Title:  DOA/POA Training and Consultant Engineer

Due to expansion of our training and consultancy activities and increased airworthiness work, aeroDAC requires a senior training and consultant engineer to develop and deliver training courses, provide support for our clients in airworthiness and production regulation as well as lead some of our key consultancy projects.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in EASA Part 21 Design Certification and Production in airworthiness regulation and be able to impart this knowledge to other professionals by delivery of training courses and providing consultancy.

 

Personal attributes will include independence, self motivation and discipline as well as contract/project management.

Further training will be given to the right candidate to fill any experience/knowledge gaps if required.

This post has the potential to develop into a management position for the right person.

The candidate should have at least 10 years background in the aviation industry with airworthiness and production regulation activities dominating.

Remuneration will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.

 

Our offices are based in a very pleasant South East rural location, UK & Overseas travel will be required.

Job Title:  Avionics/Electrical Engineer

Due to the continued growth in our EASA Approved DOA, aeroDAC is seeking an Avionics/Electrical engineer to work on electrical design and certification projects and to support the Head of Design/Head of Office of Airworthiness.

 

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years’ background in the aviation industry with avionics and electrical design activities dominating and preferably have some or all of the following:

 Experience in electrical and avionics systems design and integration and the preparation of design and certification documentation, including:

o Preparation of wiring diagrams and schematics,

o Preparation of installation instructions,

o Electrical Load analysis,

o Test plans including EMI and functional tests,

o Equipment qualification,

o Environmental testing, i.e. DO160 / ED14,

o Hazard/safety assessments,

o Compliance documentation.

 Knowledge of EASA Part 21 requirements for DOA,

 Helicopter and fixed wing experience.

 Be familiar with the airworthiness / certification requirements for helicopters and aeroplanes.

 Knowledge of project management

 Familiarity with a suitable CAD package (e.g. Autocad)

 Familiarity with EWIS

 

Personal attributes will include independence, self motivation and discipline as well as contract/project management.

This is a full-time post based in our office although some flexibility of work location may be possible for the right candidate.

Candidate should also be totally familiar with the standard Microsoft Office package.

Remuneration will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.

 

Our offices are based in a very pleasant South East rural location, 5 minutes from the M23, and 15 minutes from rail stations at Gatwick and Three Bridges.
